Looking for talented, reliable photographers to join our team! Tana Ostman Photography, a Colorado-based wedding photography company, is looking to expand our business to include opportunities for other photographers to shoot weddings for us and second shoot alongside us. If you’re a newer photographer looking to expand your portfolio and gain more experience, this opportunity is for you!

What We’re Looking For:

Primary Photographer

  • As a Primary Photographer, you will represent Tana Ostman Photography by leading weddings independently. This role is ideal for photographers with wedding experience who want to focus on the creative aspects of photography while leaving client communication and business logistics to us.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the photography coverage for wedding days, managing the timeline and capturing all key moments.

    • Build rapport with couples, bridal parties, and families to create a comfortable, enjoyable experience.

    • Direct and pose groups and individuals for formal portraits and candid moments.

    • Deliver a balanced gallery of storytelling images, including details, candids, and portraits.

    • Handle unexpected situations (e.g., schedule changes, weather) calmly and professionally.

    • Submit consistent, high-quality RAW files promptly for editing.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of wedding or event photography experience.

  • Ability to confidently lead wedding day coverage with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient with natural light and off-camera flash techniques.

  • Your own professional-grade camera gear, including two camera bodies, lenses, and lighting equipment.

  • Reliable transportation and availability on weekends.

Second Shooter

  • As a Second Shooter, you’ll work alongside the Primary Photographer to capture alternate perspectives and assist in creating a seamless experience for the couple. This is an excellent opportunity for photographers looking to gain hands-on wedding experience while contributing creatively.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture candid moments, guest interactions, and alternate angles of key events like the ceremony and reception.

  • Focus on capturing details such as décor, florals, and venue shots.

  • Assist with lighting setups, gear management, and other tasks as directed by the Primary Photographer.

  • Maintain professionalism and a friendly demeanor while interacting with clients and guests.

  • Submit RAW files promptly after the event.

Requirements:

  • Some experience with portrait or event photography (wedding experience is a plus).

  • Proficiency in using natural light and basic flash setups.

  • Your own professional-grade camera gear (one camera body, lenses, and basic lighting gear) preferred but not required. Equipment may be provided.

  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Reliable transportation and weekend availability.
